Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany, Europe

Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria is literally fabulous. It inspired Cinderella's castle in Walt Disney's famous kingdom.

The original and magnificent chateau was built in the 19th century by the not very important ruler Louis II. Wittelsbach, for whom culture had an important place in life. That is why the opera scene of the composer Richard Wagner had its place here. The monarch himself did not live long enough to see the completion of the construction.

Access for people with disabilities is provided by a low-floor bus. The problem may be that it stops above the castle and visitor has to descend about 500 m down . More information at https://www.neuschwanstein.de/englisch/service/contact.htm.

The castle is equipped with an elevator. The width is bit less than one meter. You can access it through another entrance.
