Which places to visit in the Czech Republic this Autumn

Where to go this colorful season.

Průhonice Park

Průhonice Park is located in the rugged valley of the meandering Botič River and has barrier-free access. It is not only of artistic and historical importance, but in recent years it has been a refuge for numerous plant and animal species. Valuable forest and meadow communities are preserved on its territory. Something different grows in every season, and in autumn you will see, for example, Anemones, Colchicum or the fruits of Callicarpa bodinierii.

Oldtown Hall

Visitors from all over the world are especially interested in the unique astronomical clock. But few people know that they can enjoy the view of Prague without barriers. Thanks to the platform and the elevator, you can easily reach the top of the tower. The staff will not allow wheelchair users outside, but will provide an interesting explanation of what one actually sees or where to get something to eat or drink at a reasonable price in the expensive city center of Prague.

Havířská bouda - Kaňk

Havířská bouda - Kaňk is one of the wheelchair accessible outlook-towers in the Czech Republic. The idea to build a 30-meters tall tower on Kaňk Hill was born in the head of the builder Alois Holík, but eventually it became reality by his son Michal in 2013. It took a while to locals to get used to the new dominant of Central Bohemia region, but today it is a popular tip for a trip now.

The already mentioned wheelchair access for people with disabilities is provided by elevator. There´s entrance fee you have to pay. The terrace of the restaurant is also well accessible.

Enjoy beautiful views of nearby Kutná Hora city (we recommend to visit it as well) and the surrounding area. If the visibility is good, you can also see the historically significant Říp Mountain (Hill), Železné hory (the Iron Moutains) or Krkonoše (Giant Mountains).

Mirakulum Park

It´s 10 years of existence in 2022. Park Mirakulum is located in Milovice nad Labem. At Topolová street in the Mladá district. You will find several dozen game elements, a castle with catacombs, a giant sandpit, a mini zoo and also a forest educational trail.

Have fun!
