We will not be idle this year. We want to continue in our activities and plans to help traveling of disabled become more and more barrier-free.

There have passed 400 years since Arnošt Vojtěch of Harrach acceded the archbishop seat of Prague and Isabela Kateřina of Harrach married Albrecht of Valdštejn.

We met in Zittau with our German partners as Association to Support Traveling of disabled on Wednesday 11th January 2023. They are from Zittauer Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH and Marketing-Gesellschaft Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien mbH.

In the German town of Seifhennersdorf, the final workshop of the Travelling with Disabilities project took place, culminating many months of work in mapping and making new routes accessible for wheelchair users and other people with disabilities.

At the last of this year's workshops on the topic "Travelling with disabilities in the Czech-German border region", all participants gathered together in the German town of Seifhennersdorf, in the Upper Lusatia region. It was in the beautiful guesthouse Windmühle Seifhennersdorf.

The final workshop will take place at the Bildungs - und Begegnungsstätte Windmühle Seifhennersdorf. We talked about the Windmühle Education Centre, its history, its interesting form and what it offers to disabled visitors with Mr. Markus Kranich, M.A. President of the association.

This was the main topic of another workshop, which was held in Rothenburg/O.L., Germany this time. One of the partners of the project suporting travel of disabled, Mrs. Susanne Mannschott, had the opening speech and welcomed everyone at the premises of St. Martin Diakonia.

The House of Bohemian Switzerland in Krásná Lípa was one of the places we mapped accessibility of not so long ago and now it was the venue for another of our workshops. This time the main topic was How to make the beauties of nature accessible to people with disabilities.
