Observatory of the Astronomical Institute of the Academy stands above the village of Ondrejov on a hill near Mnichovice near Prague. The extensive grounds of the observatory is provided as a park with rare trees and a number of modern sculptures. Further north in " Kubětinách " is a dome with a two-meter reflecting telescope. The Observatory deals with the observation of the Sun and other stars, interstellar matter and high-energy objects in the universe. The observatory has no wheelchair access, not suitable for wheelchairs.
