The World War II. Memorial in Washington, D.C. is a significant place for Americans not only on Veterans Day.

It was opened in 2004. The open-air plaza consists of 56 pillars and 2 arches. The fountains make this place of honor also beautiful.
You can see 4000 stars on The Freedom Wall that represent 400 000 American soldiers, who lost their life.

The monument is well accessible for disabled visitors.
