This originally Gothic church has undergone many reconstructions. Renaissance elements can be seen on the decorated portal of the sacristy. After the Thirty Years' War, repairs had to take place and the Marian Chapel was added. In 2004, a tornado danced through Litovel and took the cross down from the tower. There were rare documents and valuables in it. After some time, the city returned the cross to its original place with a reference for future generations.

Inside, the main attractions are the benches with intarzies of the city's coat of arms from 1769.

The church is wheelchair accessible.

Tento původně gotický kostel prošel mnoha přestavbami. Renesanční prvky lze vidět na zdobeném portálu sakristie. Po třicetileté válce musely nastat opravy a přibyla Mariánská kaple. V roce 2004 se v Litovli roztančilo tornádo a shodilo kříž z věže. Byly v něm vzácné písemnosti a cennosti. Po nějakém čase město vrátilo kříž na původní místo s odkazem pro příští generace.

V interiéru jsou hlavní zajímavostí lavice s intarziemi erbu města z roku 1769.
