It is a monumental painting with terrain elements that look almost real. The battle took place in 1794 during the so-called Kościuszko Uprising, led by General Tadeusz Kościuszko.

This huge work measuring 15 × 114 m was created for an exhibition in Lviv, Ukraine. The creation lasted nine months in 1893 and 1894. One hundred years had passed since the battle at that time. The author is the Polish painter Jan Styka and was assisted by Wojciech Kossak and seven other assistants.

The Rotunda building is fully barrier-free. The approach to the panorama view is a bit steeper at the end.

Toto ohromné dílo o rozměrech v 15 × 114 m vzniklo pro výstavu v ukrajinském Lvově. Tvorba trvala devět měsíců v letech 1893 a 1894. Od bitvy tehdy uplynulo sto let. Autorem je polský malíř Jan Styka a pomáhal mu Wojciech Kossak a dalšími sedmi asistenty.

Budova Rotundy je plně bezbariérová. Nájezd k výhledu na panorama je ke konci trochu prudší.
